Abstract：This paper takes visually impaired people as the research object, analyzes their physiological and psychological characteristics, and expounds the concept and design necessity of barrier-free board game products combined with barrier-free design and board games, and summarizes and ideas of barrier-free board game product design and development for visually impaired people. In particular, this paper points out that in order to give players a more smooth and interesting game experience, designers should fully consider the overall game rules and operations, information perception symmetry, and conduct multiple user tests and adjustments on the setting of the interaction mechanism at the beginning of the development of board games. The design practice developed in the following part is based on the role of touch in the perception of external objects. Through chessboard shape, parametric texture design of Grasshopper and modular game mode, the easiness and benefit of board game products are realized, and unobstructed transmission of game information is guaranteed. It is expected to provide new ideas for the design other barrier-free entertainment products in the future.
