Abstract:With the rise of the experience economy and the iterative development of digital technology, contemporary exhibition spaces are in a critical stage of transitioning from static displays centered on objects to dynamic experiences centered on people. The traditional single visual narrative logic of exhibition has failed to meet the audience's demands for deep immersion and emotional resonance. This study focuses on multimodal interaction technology and proposes a narrative translation mechanism involving physical reconfiguration in the sensory dimension, psychological integration in the narrative dimension, and embodied feedback in the interaction dimension. It elaborates on the narrative design strategies of multimodal interaction in dynamic performance spaces. Finally, combined with the design practice of the flowing water and Liangping calligraphy exhibition space, this paper explores how it can promote the transformation of the space from physical enclosure to dynamic performance. The research shows that the dynamic performance space empowered by multimodal interaction is no longer a static information container, but has evolved into a "living being" with perception and feedback mechanisms. This narrative paradigm reconfiguration from static displays to dynamic performances not only expands the dimension of space narrative but also reshapes the interaction ethics between people and space, providing theoretical references and practical paths for the development of future exhibition spaces.
